Personal Introduction

はじめまして！

        Hello! My name is James Shade, I am a sophomore computer engineering student at the University of Notre Dame living in Siegfried hall. I am 20 years old, and was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. 

        I decided to learn Japanese as I have always been fascinated by Japan and its culture. I grew up playing a lot of Japanese games from the likes of Nintendo and Sega. In middle school I started getting deeper into anime and manga as well as Japanese music. Having just recently visited Japan this past summer with my family, I wanted to start properly learning the language in preparation for future trips and potential study abroad in the future.
